You may register you vehicle at the Kittery Town Hall.

Hours are Monday through Friday 9:00 am to 4:30 p.m.

You will need proof of insurance.

Do not take a chance and wait, once we knock, your caught.

If you are living in Maine, you are required to obtain a Maine Registration, Drivers license and pay Maine Income Tax. This is the LAW.

Fines Start at $868.00 dollars first offense. A second offense begins 24 hours after your first violation. Failure to have a Maine drivers license is $126.00. Income Tax evasion penalties can be enormous and varies from case to case. Usually the penalties exceeed what you would have owed.

You do not need to inspect your motor vehicle until the current valid non expired sticker expires. Any Inspection station will be glad to make an appointment to inspect your vehicle when you sticker expires.

Insurance is usually good no matter where you purchased it as long as it meets Maine’s Minimum standard. Usually people find it was cheaper.
